WHAT IS TECHNOLOGY?

The humans are able to solve their problems creating objects. Technology appeared to solve these problems. Technology is the combination of SCIENCE, TECHNIQUE and KNOWLEDGE.

Here you have five examples of technology to make it easier for you to understand:

 1.TRANSPORT : We needed something went to other countries or simply to went to a short distance. For example: to went from your house to your job, or to travell around the world, ... The first solution was the train, and then the ship, the plane, the car ... The materials used to built the train were iron and other metals, and wheels. 2.SUNGLASSES: We needed something to protect our eyes from the sun-rays. For example, when you are driving and you couldn't see the road because of the sun-rays. The materials used are dark glass and plastic or iron to built the frame. 3.WOOD BOARD GAME: We needed something to entertain the families. For example, in a winter day when you and your family are bored. To solve these someone created a wood board game.The materials used were wood and plastic to built the dice. The technique is a very simple technique.

4. MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS: We needed something to make sound. For example, in prehistory they needed something to scare the predators.  The materials are wood, iron, ... depending on the instrument.They used elaborated techniques to build it.

5.INHALATOR: We needed something to introduce the medication into the patient's body. For example, when you are asthmatic you introduce the medication into your lungs with an inhalator. The materials used were plastic and metal. The technique to build it is a simple technique.

IMPORTANCE OF TECHNIQUE, KNOWLEDGE and MATERIALS


The TECHNIQUE, the KNOWLEDGE and the MATERIALS are very important in Technology because if you don't have only one thing of all of these you can not due nothing in technology. These elements are key elements in technology.

WRITTEN PROJECT:

We do a written project before starting to create the object. Is used to know the materials we need, the parts of the object we have to build, what price is going to have, ...

1.Cover: with title,name and surnames, group, subject and curse.
2. Contents Page
3.Analysis of the problem and initial conditions.
4.Research for information, explaining the ideas found and where
5. Possible solutions (free hand sketches)
6.Sketch, with the measures, the materials,...
7.Materials
8.Planning
9.Budget

STRUCTURES

  WHAT IS AN STRUCTURE?   An structure can be anything that supports , holds or connects something . I usually say that is the basis or the key of something, if you look around you nearly every thing has or it's an structure , for example if you are in your house and you go to your kitchen you can see the microwave, it's an structure, then if you watch the TV, you can see there airplanes, they are structures, buildings... The structures can be used for: To hold things:  there are a lot of structures that hold things they have to be elaborated to hold so many weight.                                        To construct: every building, bridge and other constructions need to have an structure to support the weight of the construction.                                   ...

A CENTURY BETWEEN US MOVIE

A CENTURY BETWEEN US  MY OPINION ABOUT IT: Members:  Maria Antònia  Julie Hummert  Xander Stock Aaron  I loved the experience, I think everybody should make a movie at least one time in their life. It's a little bit stressing and sometimes I thought I we couldn't finish it. We had fun during the shooting and we learned a lot of things about the others. First, we couldn't decide a date  for the shootinf and becouse of these we were all stressed but finally we laughed a lot and enjoyed the shooting. I think the next year, the students should have more sessions in class to prepare it, during the technology and english classes, like classes of  editing, classes of interpretation... I'm proud of my film, because of the hard work we have done but I think it could be better. I would change some shootings and make it more complete and cool. The animation is a good one but not the best and we all tried to do it the best we can. https://docs...
